NEW: Print files to the default printer attached to the computer running VNC Viewer. NEW: VNC Chat supported cross-platform, and can be launched from the VNC Viewer toolbar. NEW: Copy and paste non-ASCII text. NEW: Connect to VNC Server using IPv6 addresses (if enabled on system). NEW: VNC Server provides notification when users connect. Improved foreign language support. Better foreign keyboard handling, including dead keys. Improved VNC Server UI for filtering IP addresses. Improved line-speed estimation for adapting to network speed. Improved VNC Server Status dialog and diagnosis tools. Improved handling of CAPS LOCK and NUM LOCK keys. VNC Address Book improvements: Import/export of connections, and better protection for encrypted passwords. VNC Enterprise Edition for Windows changes NEW: Basic Windows 7 support. Users not disconnected until the last possible moment on power off. VNC Address Book improvements: Connect using new "quick launch" bar, and new UI options to start minimized and on Windows start-up. FIXED: Intermittent file transfer failure. FIXED: Intermittent failure when connecting via Single sign-on to versions of VNC Server prior to 4.5. |
